£45 Million (and Counting) Raised by JustGiving Fundraisers in 2025 London and Manchester Marathons

People who complete marathons are inspiring. But people who raise money in marathons are incredible.

It’s about this time each year where we reflect on the true power of fundraising. This year, the London  and Manchester Marathon were both on Sunday 27th April, and demonstrated yet again just how impactful charity fundraising in events like this can be.

Over £45 million has been raised (so far) by London and Manchester Marathon fundraisers on JustGiving – and donations are still pouring in!

In these two monumental events…

  • Nearly 2,000 life-changing charities used JustGiving to fund their mission.
  • Over 1 million donations were made to 20,000 amazing JustGiving fundraisers.
  • The majority of all charity fundraising for the marathons happened on JustGiving.

And in both marathons, our incredible fundraisers raised more per page on average than in 2024.

It’s your charity’s passion, your mission, your message, and your encouragement that makes a life-changing difference in our world. A massive congratulations and thank you to the inspiring charities making JustGiving a part of your journey.
